Hyperendocrin Anatomy Studies by EmilyStepp Hyperendocrin Anatomy Studies by EmilyStepp
Fan art concept for The Isle. I'm making hypo versions for all non top tier carnivores since I know they never will be in the game. It's for fun and possibly an all hypo mod in the future.  These are all the carnivores I've designed with a little realistic makeover and mini redesign.  Thanks to Scott Hartman for his awesome skeletal drawings that I heavily referenced for these.

Excuse me if the question is dumb but I am not very familiar with this game... why do people call Hyper- strain Hypo as if the two were the same when in fact in medical/biological terms these two are opposites? It confuses me every time I see it.

As far as the artworks go they are excellent.:)

When they say Hyper, they are referring to the biological term  When they say Hypo they are abbreviating and keeping (Hyp)erend(o)crin.  The lead developer of the game refers to them as hypos, which is definitely why so many people call them that.

Thanks haha.  With this one though it was just transferring details from the original concepts and slightly changing proportions of the skeletons with a quick muscle sketch on top.

You should make a size comparison of all the Hypos you have made (carnivores and herbivores)

I'll have to do that once I finish the herbivore anatomy studies.  It'll be fun to see :)

They'll basically all be the same ratio to one another as their normal counterparts are.  I'll have to include something else for scale lol.

Ah, choosing a favorite from Hyperendocrin Predators is hard not gonna lie. All designs are beautiful and you have made great ideas for special abilities. I must say that my favorite place is going to be shared with Hyperendocrin Allosaurus and Hyperendocrin Suchomimus. If Allosaurus' appearance is not intimitating then their prey do not want to imagine what kind of horror they face when Hyperendocrin Allosaurus opens their mouth. It's like a grappling hook that tears away muscle and flesh basically could almost imagine being eaten alive. Suchomimus on the other hand has better chance on competition with normal (or common) Spinosaurus and would most likely not starve if it takes land from other apex water predator. The idea about piercing tongue to catch smaller lizards, reptiles and fish can be very effective in case Hyperendocrin Suchomimus searching a smaller snack.

Hyperendocrin Acrocanthosaurus is also a second close call favorite as it can use it's armor and spikes to it's advantage during hunting. Another Hyperendocrin predator that is able to hunt Puertasaurus. Hyperendocrin Tyrannosaurus Rex and Hyperendocrin Acrocanthosaurus would be Puertas worst nightmare. :"D

Awe thank you :)  I've definitely tried to make them interesting and fill in different playstyle gaps.  I'm about to go back into my hyperendocrin herbivores to improve them a bit next.  I feel like I learned a lot with the carnivores.

It's probably my favorite too.  I like Baryonyx as well though.
